What Affects the Cost of Ceramic Coating?

Why are ceramic coating quotations different?
The useful comparison is the complete job, not simply the coating bottle. Vehicle size, paint condition, preparation and included surfaces all affect a quotation. A small new car and a large car with visible defects may need different amounts of work.
Does polishing affect the price?
Yes, where it is needed. Cleaning prepares the surface; polishing addresses suitable marks and improves clarity. Ask whether the quote includes a light enhancement or more involved paint correction. Do not assume every new car needs heavy correction.
Which surfaces are included?
Confirm the painted bodywork and whether wheels, glass, trim or interior treatments are included or quoted separately. Also ask about wheel-face versus wheel-off work if wheel protection matters to you. Package names alone do not describe exact coverage.
How should I compare lifespan claims?
Ask for the product name, rated durability, maintenance requirements and any warranty terms. A stated lifespan is not a guarantee under every driving and washing routine. A coating is not scratch-proof and does not provide the physical barrier of PPF.
What should I send for a quote?
Send the make, model, age, clear paint photographs, previous paintwork details and the finish you want. For a new car, include delivery timing. A workshop assessment may be needed before the polishing scope is finalised.
