How long does a ceramic coating last?
Our five-year coating option has a rated lifespan that depends on correct preparation, use and maintenance. Follow the aftercare guidance supplied at handover.
Will the car still scratch?
Yes, paint and coatings can still be scratched. A 9H pencil-hardness rating is not a scratch-proof guarantee. Use gentle washing and drying techniques.
Is PPF invisible?
PPF is designed to be discreet. Some edges, joins or texture may be visible depending on the car and coverage. We explain practical installation limits before work begins.
What does a film warranty cover?
Coverage depends on the selected film and the manufacturer’s terms. Ask us to confirm the product, duration, exclusions and care requirements as part of your quotation.
Can a coating remove swirl marks?
No. Paint correction is the polishing stage that reduces suitable defects. A coating is applied after preparation.
Can I combine coating and PPF?
Yes. A compatible coating can be used over PPF, and unfilmed panels can also be coated. We can discuss a combined package.
Where is the work carried out?
At our Stockport workshop. We welcome clients from Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Prestbury, Bramhall, Hale and the surrounding area.
