Hyundai: new-car ceramic coating

The project

This new Hyundai received ceramic coating protection at Millennium Detailing. The photograph shows the completed car in its light blue finish.

For an owner starting with a new vehicle, protection should fit the way the car will be used and maintained. A ceramic coating helps make routine cleaning easier while preserving the appeal of the prepared finish. It does not make washing unnecessary or prevent every scratch.

Planning around delivery

If you are waiting for your Hyundai, discuss the expected collection date with us before booking. We can talk through the intended treatment and agree handover arrangements once the timing is clear.

New paint still needs assessment. Transport contamination or marks may require attention, but the preparation should follow the actual condition rather than an assumption that every new car needs the same work.

Set the right expectations

This project used a ceramic coating. If your main concern is stone chips, ask about PPF, which adds a physical film. A coating and film should not be treated as interchangeable products.

A routine that protects the finish

Use clean wash equipment, products suitable for the treatment and a careful drying method. Remove contamination promptly using compatible products rather than scrubbing. Follow the first-wash guidance supplied at handover and ask us before using an unfamiliar cleaner.
