Front-End, High-Impact or Full-Car PPF: Which Coverage? — Millennium Detailing Stockport

Start with what you want to protect

PPF coverage is a choice about panels, not simply a label. Tell us about motorway use, everyday mileage and the areas that concern you. Film adds a physical barrier, but no package makes the car immune to damage.

When does front-end PPF make sense?

Front-facing panels are exposed to road debris. A front-end package can focus on the bumper, bonnet and front wings. Mirrors and other details should be confirmed in the quotation rather than assumed to be included.

What does high-impact coverage mean?

It extends protection to selected vulnerable areas. Sills, rear arches or other panels may be relevant depending on the model and use. There is no universal high-impact panel list. Our Macan GTS project provides an example of this package choice.

Why consider full-car PPF?

Broader coverage suits owners who want physical protection across more of the painted exterior. Discuss exclusions, complex panels, joins and accessible wrapped edges before booking. See our black Porsche 911 full PPF project.

Can ceramic coating be combined with film?

A compatible coating can make film easier to clean, while unfilmed paint can be coated separately. Coating and film serve different purposes. Confirm product compatibility and aftercare with the installer.

What should a PPF quote include?

Ask for a written panel list, film and finish, preparation scope, installation details, warranty terms and expected workshop time. Existing repainting or exterior modifications should be disclosed before installation.
